SPARKLE MOTION FOUNDATION

We are excited to share that funding grants will be available in late fall 2026, following our major fundraising event. Until then, we’re working hand in hand with our community to build sponsorships and raise the support needed to help as many people as possible. Thank you for standing with us, for your patience, and for your unwavering support—it means the world to us.

KRYSTA KELLEY

Founder / Director

I have been a celebrity caterer and private chef since 1990, spending the past 21 years working in the film industry, specializing in set catering and craft services, as well as dabbling in acting and producing. I studied Commercial Recreation Planning, Programming, and Management at the University of Utah, with an emphasis on resorts and events.

Beyond catering, my work has often extended to event logistics, including staffing, music coordination, room layouts, floral design, and more. I currently live on a three-acre farm along the Columbia River, 20 miles west of Portland, where I spend my time with our farm cat, Sweet Girl, along with chickens, ducks, and a thriving garden. I also love hosting friends who make the trek out to the country for good food and good company.

Dr Ian Penner

Dr Ian Penner

Ian has been working with patients with complex medical and psychological needs for over 15 years as a PA in Family Medicine, and with two sons who are members of Gen Z he sees the challenges that younger people face navigating a difficult and patchwork system for managing mental health. In his prior career as an exercise physiologist, he experienced the ways in which many people approached wellness from a purely physical outlook, and understands that access to mental health resources is an integral part of maintaining the whole person. Working with a team of behavioral health providers who assist access to services has highlighted how crucial it is to expand the options for patients, particularly those in crisis, and is hopeful this project can add time-critical services for those most in need.
